Meet the New Pros at Our Lake Bluff Tennis Club!

The Racquet Club of Lake Bluff is pleased to welcome two new instructors to our team of tennis professionals!

Alice Pacaut joins us from Eyguiéres, France and brings a world of knowledge and experience to our tennis club in Lake Bluff. She played Division I collegiate tennis at Stephen F. Austin University (Nacogdoches, Texas) and Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff, Arizona), reaching as high as #1 doubles and #4 singles while juggling her studies and student responsibilities.

After graduating with a degree in exercise science, Alice returned home to France to teach tennis. While there, she earned her certification from the French Federation.
In addition to private lessons, Alice also instructs multiple junior levels and ladies drills. Her practical knowledge of health, exercise, and nutrition allows her to provide a great fitness experience for her students.

Tom Koopsen, brings over 45 years of teaching experience to the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff. His love for the sport of tennis began at an early age and he has been playing competitively since the age of 12!

Tom attended Central Michigan University and played on the varsity team for all four years, finishing as the #1 singles player and as part of the #1 doubles team.
Tom’s tennis career led him to serve as head tennis pro in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he coached numerous state champions and nationally ranked players. Many of his students participated in the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Boys Nationals at “the Zoo”.
USPTA certified for 35 years, Tom brings his passion, knowledge and creative coaching style to our tennis club.

Welcome aboard, Alice and Tom! We’re so pleased that you’re part of the RCLB family!
